Winegrowing Philosophy

Since 1988, Seven Hills Winery has worked to cultivate long-term relationships with the finest growers in the Northwest - growers who share our unwavering commitment to quality. As a result, we have established one of the most exceptional vineyard programs in the region, combining fruit from the Seven Hills Winery estate founding blocks with top vineyard sources in the Walla Walla Valley, Red Mountain and throughout the Columbia Valley. Though these sites reflect the rich diversity of Northwest winegrowing, they often share many important attributes, including older vines, well-draining soils, uninhibited light exposure, good air drainage and southwest-facing slopes. And because the sites span numerous appellations, we have access to excellent fruit in even the most challenging vintages.
